There is something wonderfully comforting about the ritual of a great cup of coffee, but the way you brew it can make an incredible difference in what ends up in your cup. Join Robin for the first class in our Masterclass Series, where we’ll slow down, brew a few pots, and explore what really makes a great cup of coffee.

We’ll brew coffee four different ways: drip coffee maker, pour over, French press, and cold brew. Along the way, Robin will discuss the best types of beans and roasts for each method, the importance of grind size and ratios, and simple techniques that can help you make better coffee at home. You’ll taste the coffees side by side so you can experience how each brewing method brings out different flavors and characteristics in the beans.

And because this is Robin’s Masterclass, she’ll also share one of her personal favorites, butter coffee, and show you how she makes it.

Throughout the class, we’ll talk about choosing coffee beans, matching beans to brewing methods, getting the grind right, and understanding how small changes in your brewing process can make a noticeable difference in your morning cup.

Come ready to learn, taste, compare, and discover a few simple ways to make your morning coffee even better.

We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
