Hands-On Class
Discover the rich culinary traditions of Georgia, a country at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Join Ana’s Bakehouse for a hands-on evening of comforting breads, distinctive flavors, and warm hospitality. Learn to prepare, shape and bake Adjaruli Khachapuri, Georgia’s iconic boat-shaped bread filled with feta and mozzarella, finished with egg yolk and butter. We'll begin with traditional spinach-and-walnut Pkhali and sample tarragon-flavored Borjomi Limonati sparkling lemonade.
Menu Includes:
- Pkhali with spinach, walnuts, garlic, Georgian spices, pomegranate and crackers
- Adjaruli Khachapuri with feta, mozzarella, egg yolk and butter
- Borjomi Limonati sparkling lemonade tasting
Optional wine pairing: Guests may bring Georgian white wine, including Lanchava Collection George Rkatsiteli or AI IA White Rkatsiteli.
Chilled water will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own beverage; wine glasses are available. Please do not bring hard liquor.
Class reservations are non-refundable but transferable. If you cannot attend, call the shop as early as possible with the name of your replacement guest. If you cannot find someone and there is a waitlist, we will try to fill your seat. If successful, your class fee will be applied to a future class.
